Why Steropedia Exists

For years, I’ve wanted to create a resource like Steropedia. The internet is overflowing with bro-science, half-truths, and flat-out myths about steroids. Unfortunately, it’s all too easy for young people—and even experienced users—to get misled by bad advice or misinterpreted studies.

At Steropedia, I’m trying to fix that. This site is built on two principles: trustworthy information and accessibility.

What Steropedia Aims to Do

1. Cut Through the Noise

The fitness and bodybuilding communities are rife with conflicting information. From forums to social media influencers, the advice is often a mix of outdated practices and speculation. Steropedia is here to offer clarity: every guide and profile is based on scientific studies or the insights of experienced professionals.

2. Provide Options, Not Absolutes

In the Guides section, you’ll notice something unique—there’s not always one “correct” way to do something. Different people have different needs, goals, and responses to substances. For example, two users might approach the same protocol in completely different ways, and both could achieve success.

Instead of declaring a single “right way,” Steropedia maintains and updates multiple guides for various approaches. Each one is backed by as much science and practical experience as possible. This way, you can make an informed choice that works for you.

3. Make Science Accessible (and Fun)

Let’s face it: academic studies can be dry. But they’re also crucial for busting myths and avoiding dangerous mistakes. That’s why I’m committed to including the most important research on this site—but I’ll do my best to make it engaging. Steropedia blends serious science with a bit of humor because staying informed doesn’t have to feel like a chore.

What Steropedia Is (and Isn’t)

  • What It Is:
A platform for reliable, science-backed information, written with care and maintained for accuracy.

  • What It Isn’t:
A claim to perfection. Not every piece of information here is guaranteed to be flawless. That’s why I’m open to corrections, feedback, and contributions from the community.

How You Can Contribute

Steropedia isn’t just my project—it’s a collaborative effort. Here’s how you can get involved:

  1. Spot an Error? Let Me Know!
If you think something on this site is incorrect, outdated, or incomplete, don’t hesitate to email me. I value your input and want Steropedia to be as accurate as possible.

  2. Share Your Expertise
Are you a professional, experienced user, or researcher with insights to share? Your contributions are welcome! Help us improve our guides, expand our references, or provide new perspectives.

  3. Help Translate Our Content
Steropedia aims to reach people worldwide. If you’re fluent in another language, consider helping us translate pages to make this information accessible to more people.

Why This Matters

The choices people make about their bodies can have lifelong consequences. Misleading or incomplete information can lead to dangerous decisions, especially for young people who are just starting to explore these topics.

Steropedia exists to empower users with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions—or, better yet, to avoid unnecessary risks altogether. By combining science, experience, and a touch of humor, we hope to make these serious topics approachable for everyone.
